The MS.86.Ulva bag is a unique and completely original object, created from a material made from 100% seaweed instead of traditional animal skins. This innovative material, which has been developed, tested and refined over several years of research in collaboration with scientists, is completely biodegradable. It could replace leather and plastic in both the industrial and craft sectors. Assembly using water, re-using scraps in nature: the entire production process is part of an ecological approach that is both ethical and radical. The creation process drew on expertise and know-how in upholstery, leather goods and saddlery. A genuine dialogue between science, design and artisanship, this bag is first and foremost a manifesto. It's an everyday object that reflects our determination to make this material more accessible to the public.
